The Diamondback Haanjo Trail Complete Bike isn't just a gravel bike. It's got a race-worthy drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, top-end wheels, and an all-day geometry for confident handling across a variety of terrain. That means that once it's out of the barn, the Haanjo Trail Bike turns into an eager companion who's ready to go wherever our imaginations take us. Its frame and fork are responsive to our efforts on the road, and its tires and geometry give us full confidence on gravel, grass, and even fast singletrack or washboard.

The secret to the Haanjo's flexibility begins with its Endurance frame — the one you'll see on its road bikes designed to do 100 miles or more in a day — because its 6061-T6 alloy construction is light with a smooth, efficient ride. Its geometry tends toward the long and comfortable end of the spectrum, which keeps you more upright and doesn't handle like a twitchy racing frame. The tapered head tube also contributes to the Haanjo's easy handling while reducing front end flex during hard efforts.

The bike also incorporates myriad small details that recommend it for use beyond just recreation. For example, the top tube of the frame is flattened a bit, which makes the bike easier to shoulder when walking up stairs while commuting. It also benefits from the certainty of hydraulic disc brakes for added stopping power when loaded with touring gear. Finally, touches like the full carbon fork, Ultegra drivetrain, and the inimitable HED Flanders rims (which may be our favorite part of the Haanjo's impressive kit) mean this isn't just made for sampling gravel or getting groceries — it's a bike that can also show up for cycling events or 'cross.
